Part Three, Until Death Us Do Part: Chapters 50-55 Summary
Anson tells Mitch the name of the kidnapper, having recognized Mitch's description. Anson says his name is Jimmy Null and that if he is on the phone, the others are dead. Before Mitch has time to digest this, the phone rings again. Mitch thinks it might be Null so he answers, but it turns out to be Campbell looking for his car. Mitch pretends to not know who Campbell is, but Campbell recognizes his voice and promises to come find him.
Mitch prepares the money for the exchange. Anson begins telling Mitch what he does for a living and where the money came from. Anson writes computer programs that allow men like Campbell to sell child porn over the Internet. Mitch is sickened by this, but still...
