Mitch and Anson drive around for a while, not really talking. Anson suggests they stop for something to eat. Mitch pulls over at a Chinese restaurant and goes inside to get take-out. Mitch's initial relief at learning his brother has the ransom money has faded and now he is slowly filling with anger at these kidnappers for taking his wife and placing her life in danger. This rollercoaster of emotions distracts Mitch so that he does not question why his brother is on his cell phone when he returns to the car with food.
