Jordan McBride

From her introduction in the very first chapter, Jordan is described as being exactly like her father, both of them with "straight noses, level brows, dark hair" (8). Besides the physical, Jordan resembles her father in that she views the world with a certain optimism, and forms strong connections with those around her.

However, Jordan does prove to be more insightful than her father, as she catches on to Anneliese's lies almost immediately. She is incredibly intelligent and ambitious, and combined with the fact that she is not afraid to speak up for herself, Jordan is nearly unstoppable when attempting to get her way.
