Summary
Jordan has been making up excuses to avoid Anneliese over the past few weeks, but she knows she has to be careful, in case Anneliese suspects Jordan is acting strangely. Something in her tells her that she should inform Tony of her suspicions, and when no one answers the door, she lets herself into his apartment. She finds papers on his desk that have to do with case, and ultimately finds Lorelei Vogt's file. She finds of Anneliese inside of it, and pushes "the photograph aside with shaking fingers and [begins] to read" (452).
Back from their trip, Ian and Nina make their way back to the apartment, and find the door ajar when they reach the top of the stairs. Someone has pushed all of the papers off of the table, clearing it off, and left only a piece of paper and two...
