Summary
In May of 1950 at a local airfield in Boston, Garrett and Jordan have just gone for a ride in his biplane, with Jordan having snapped pictures the entire ride. The two are now engaged, and have begun discussions about planning their wedding. Jordan says she has to get back to tend the antique shop, and fantasizes about cutting her hair off on the car ride back. Before they go back into town, however, the they make love in a field down a remote road past the airfield. Back at the antique shop, Jordan notices the improvements Anneliese has made to make it feel more homey, and Jordan also expresses that she hopes her father does not have to go on too many more buying trips for the store. Mr. Kolb is also working, an old German man Anneliese recommended who restores the antiques...
