Summary
Linus writes another report in Chapter 13. This time, he praises Arthur and highlights the uniqueness and intelligence of each of the children. In the middle of the night, Linus wakes up to the whole house shaking. Lucy is having a nightmare. Linus goes to Lucy’s room and finds Arthur there, saying soothing words. Lucy appears to be having a seizure in his sleep, but Arthur’s calming influence brings him back to earth. His nightmare caused the house to shake and, consequently, the records on his wall fell and broke. Lucy feels terrible, so Arthur suggests they all take a trip to the village record store to replace them. Arthur tells Linus he likes Linus as a person and Linus stays up all night thinking about him.
