Cricket

Cricket is a HiveWing dragon who is different because Queen Wasp cannot control her mind. She has spent most of her life hiding whenever the other HiveWings fell under Queen Wasp's control to avoid being noticed. Cricket is intelligent and curious. The combination makes her determined to find answers. Katydid says Cricket's life would be much easier if she would curb this constant quest for answers. Cricket is also empathetic, kind, and caring, but she is very aware that Blue has a higher capacity for empathy. Cricket wants to make changes, but she is seeking scientific and peaceful methods of change. Conversely, the LeafWings are willing to use violence. Cricket understands their desperation, which is a sign of her intelligence and empathy, but she continues to hope for a different answer.
