Stories Thirty-six through Forty Summary
In Story Thirty-six, Ennasuite tells of the President of the Parlement of Grenoble who discovers that his wife is cheating. In order to protect his family's reputation, the president pretends that he does not know about the affair. Instead, his wife dies after eating a salad that her husband has made. Conversation following this story centers around the actions of the husband.
