Summary

In Chapter 30, Ahren and Eadlyn meet Camille at the airport. Then they drive home and attend the party Eadlyn organized for her. At the party, Eadlyn talks to Ean who reminds her of his offer. Then she talks to Erik. Both of them admit that they are happy to have met each other and they talk about why he did not enter the Selection. Finally, she finds Henri and as they talk, she thinks that maybe they could get along together in spite of the language barrier. As they dance, she notices a look on Erik’s face. He is smiling, but she thinks that there is a little sadness behind his smile.
