Summary

In Chapter19, Eadlyn goes on a date with Jack. However, it ends badly as he makes strange comments and then tries to assault her sexually. She runs away and finds some guards. Then Ahren comes. Jack, whom the guards are restraining, says that Eadlyn liked the type of attention he was giving her. Ahren gives Eadlyn the opportunity to punch Jack, but when she cannot do it, he does. It hurts his hand and she goes to the hospital with him. She orders the guards to send Jack home. Later, the entire family gathers in Ahren’s room. Her father apologizes for what happened because someone like Jack was able to get in, but warns that it could have been bad to send Jack home instantly if he had died.
