Chapters Twenty-Two through Twenty-Five Summary and Analysis
In chapter twenty-two, Yun is unable to walk at all but Brother Xu says Yun should consider escape. Yun soon has a vision of his own in which he escapes the prison and immediately follows the Lord's directions. He walks past gates that should have been locked and guards that should have refused to allow him to pass so that he is soon outside the prison. He catches a cab to the home of Christian friends who have also had a vision of his return and are expecting him. They hide him in a pre-arranged location, and a huge storm which makes the efforts of the tracking dogs useless. Yun cites the prayers of two men as being instrumental in his escape, Brother Xu and Brother Musheng, who are both in prison at the time...
