Buddha
Siddharta Guatama went searching for a way to end suffering. Afer years of meditation and practice, he spent the night under a Bodhi tree, resolved not to get up until he was enlightened. He experienced a "profound breakthrough" and became a Buddha. With his new awareness and capacity for love and understanding, he roamed for forty-nine days in peace and, perhaps, bliss. He eventually returned to the Deer Park to discuss his experience with his colleagues. He tried to explain to them the nature of relativity, that nothing can exist alone, but everything is interwoven. He also realized that each person has the capacity to be enlightened. He proceeded to teach the Four Noble Truths, The Noble Eightfold Path and other sutras.
