Part VII, White Ceiling

White Ceiling – When Stan comes to, he is strapped down. He can’t speak or move, but he can see and think. Charmaine, meanwhile, returns to her job as Medication Administrator. She begins to have doubts about the work she is doing.

Hood – Charmaine is stunned to discover Sandi in her cell, tied up and hooded. Sandi urges Charmaine to pretend she doesn’t know her. Sandi says she tried to get out by sleeping her way out, but failed. Sandi explains that Veronica went missing after she refused to take on work handling the Procedure, leading Sandi to want to leave. Sandi then tells Charmaine she must call for a guard, and ask why an unknown prisoner has been put into her cell.
