Summary

Chapter 13 is set in December of 2015, five months after Chapter 11. Sera knows she was not part of the team that competed in Scotland because she stood up for Lucy. Sera also knows they are counting down to the Olympics. She believes the 2016 Olympics to be her only chance because of the toll training is taking. At Balogh Ranch, Donna Jenssen announces that Eddie has retired and she is taking his place. Lucy wants to tell Vanda what Eddie has been doing to her. Sera is torn between what Lucy believes and all the praise she hears about Eddie. Sera also warns Lucy that she should not make Vanda angry.
