The Half Moon

The Half Moon is the bar that Malcolm owns and manages. He has worked at the establishment for decades and dreams of turning it into a successful business with a rooftop space. However, shortly after he purchases it from Hugh, sales decline and he struggles to make rent payments. Throughout the narrative, Malcolm attempts to make minor repairs the building, which is in disrepair; he clings to the hope that the Half Moon can survive. However, after contemplating burning the bar for insurance money, he visits Hugh to talk about their deal. Jess reveals that Hugh signed the land over to Darren Gephardt in the 1970s and forces him to release Malcolm from the deal.
