The Castle
The Castle is the estate of Leslie Day's deceased, rich parents. It is the nicest mansion on the island and has an elaborate maze leading to a side cottage. Leslie and her family live in the cottage when they move to the island, and her son Brooks is given free reign of the Castle until she decides to work on renovations. Everyday, Brooks invites many of the islands' teens to party until the late hours of the night as he spins records on a turntable in the center of the Castle's ballroom, an enormous room with a beautifully painted ceiling. At one such party that gets out of hand, the ornamented walls are covered in black spray paint and vulgar slurs. At another, Penny launches herself off of the second floor balcony and seriously injures herself.
