Part 1: Chapter 7-10 Summary

Thomas is driving down the road on his motorcycle in chapter seven after leaving the restaurant and the Woolfs. Thomas is thinking over everything that Alexander said when Thomas' motorcycle is suddenly ran off the road by another vehicle. Thomas is knocked unconscious after the wreck and wakes up tied to a table. There are two men and the first to speak is obviously American. Thomas tells the men that his neck is broke but they explain that his neck won't matter much longer. The man demands to know what Thomas and Alexander Woolf had talked about. Thomas tells him as much as he can trying to appear appeasing but trying to keep anything pertinent to himself. The man, who Thomas has mentally named Groomed, says that Woolf is a bad guy who has brought thirty-six tons of cocaine...
