Fishing

For Jack, the act of fishing symbolizes beauty and peace. Over the course of his life, Jack has resorted to fishing in times of extreme distress. However, the sport is not merely a form of distraction from his internal turmoil. Rather, fishing allows him to feel more like himself through a connection to the natural world.

River
