Summary
In Chapter 37, Frankie locates the house in the town of Dillon which Kenny grew up in, a house that has clearly been abandoned. While there, Frankie also meets with Riley Taft, Kenny’s nephew, and tells him that it is now believed that Kenny was murdered, not shot by a druggie. Frankie explains that Kenny’s murder is connected to Quincy, a client whom Guardian ministries is trying to get exonerated.
Frankie tells Riley about the rumors that Kenny had taken evidence from the sheriff’s storage shed before it burned. Riley realizes that Frankie is looking for that evidence. He believes, like Frankie, that Kenny might have hidden it in the old home place. Regardless, Riley tells Frankie that no one can go into the house because it is too dangerous.
