Summary
Aireen comes back to the apartment after work and stops by Liborio’s room. She remarks on how much he has cleaned up the place. He asks her if she likes the plastic flowers he has set out, and she says she does, adding that it is very peaceful there. She asks him how old he is and he tells her maybe 17, but he does not know for sure. She then asks him when his birthday is and his response is the same. There is a flashback to a conversation between Liborio and his godmother in which it is revealed that Liborio’s real mother died during childbirth, and that it is likely she did not know who his father was.
