Summary

After leaving the bookshop Liborio runs to Chuby Jon’s boxing gym because he does not want to waste money on the bus. He finds the gym is on a fairly impoverished side of town, and when he sees it is essentially housed in a large warehouse, he begins to doubt Chuby Jon will ever make good on their deal. As Liborio enters the gym a man brushes past him without speaking, pushing him out of the way. Chuby Jon introduces Liborio to a man named Yorkie who gets him a set of boxing gloves so he can spar with Crazy Loco, Chuby Jon’s boxer. Liborio has nothing else to box in but the clothes he is wearing, and Yorkie tells him to take his shirt off before they start fighting, but he refuses. When Crazy Loco enters the ring...
