Summary
In Chapter 58, Anna and Lobbi have settled into a routine by the third day. Lobbi asks the butcher for more cooking advice. He takes Flóra Sól with him to a restaurant for a woman there to teach him some recipes. Lobbi stops to call his father and Flóra Sól says “Gram-da” (200). Lobbi’s neighbor seems to be outside her apartment every time Lobbi leaves. She tells him that her eczema has cleared up since Flóra Sól has arrived.
In Chapter 59, Lobbi continues to care for Flóra Sól. He notes how trusting she is of animals. He finds her to be precocious. She is confused when a cat scratches her. Lobbi tries to explain to her that there is good and bad in the world. When they get back to the apartment, Anna finds that Lobbi...
