Chapter 2 Summary and Analysis
Og had a hard day later that spring. Og had been feeling pressure from his friends and colleagues to quit his job now that his book had become such a big success. However, Og liked working at the magazine and felt that he could increase its circulation even more than he already had. Og left the office late one night and encountered Simon and his dog in the parking lot. They introduced themselves to one another and Og thanked Simon for his help that snowy morning. Og told Simon that his real name is Augustine, but he liked the shorten form, Og. Og also told Simon that he was a writer.
