Summary
The unnamed narrator describes the events that took place in the lab after the discovery of Loeka, a 7000-year-old man discovered frozen on a mountain. The narrator described how the scientists marveled at this man who was able to climb 4000 feet without modern climbing equipment. He had been found 300 miles from his native village in Italy, causing the scientists to wonder what had made him travel so far.
