Summary

Chapter 18 begins as Cal talks about how he and Leon keep sneaking away to make out. His family goes to the airport to fly to Cape Canaveral for the satellite launch and while waiting to board Cal reviews the emails he sent Leon which were all quizzes about the future. Kiara finds Cal and says Josh was almost fired for Cal’s video. StarWatch has started sharing Cal’s content too and Kiara explains, “Anything we say about you gets us a ton of attention” (195). Cal says no one has asked for permission and asks Kiara “How am I a more responsible journo than you all,” and Kiara responds, “I wouldn’t call us real journalists” (195).
