Chapter 5, Danse Macabre, and Interlude, The Convocation Summary

Bod discovers that no one wants to spend any time with him. Everyone is busy cleaning up and singing a song about a dance, but Bod does not understand. Then Bod sees the mayor of the city come into the cemetery and cut a white flower he has never seen bloom in the cemetery before. That night Bod cannot find anyone in the cemetery. Bod goes into the city and sees all the living people wearing one of the flowers. Bod gets one too.

Music begins to play and the citizens of the cemetery appear in the town. The dead begin to dance with the living. Everyone seems so happy and excited to dance this dance. The Lady on the Grey appears and Bod dances with her. It all ends too...
