Epilogue Summary
The Epilogue quotes Revelation 1:19 about writing what one has seen, as well as "Walden" by Henry David Thoreau about secrets being a part of his nature. Janet Tashjian argues with her editor about publishing Josh's book as fiction under her name, but Josh asks her to do whatever is necessary to get the story out. She helps Josh because it is the right thing to do, but she wishes she had done more. She decides against contacting Peter since it would be a violation of Josh's privacy, and she hopes Peter and Katherine will be happy when she learns that they recently married.
