Summary

In Chapter 11, Flavia searches Miss Pursemaker’s bedroom. Before she starts, she makes sure that the Missioners are still gone and is happy because she will hear when they return because the window is open. When she does not find anything of interest in the room, she thinks of searching their car. Then, she hears a car and sees that Dogger and the women have returned early. Miss Pursemaker is helping Miss Stonebrook walk to the house. Flavia decides that she still has time to search the car. She thinks of her deceased father when she gets to the coach house and about the ethics of searching the car and proceeds with her plan.
