Part V: Chapters 31-33 Summary
In Chapter 31, Frank and John have the suite to themselves and talk. Bellarosa senses John's mood and reminds him that the state his life is in is his own fault. John agrees, but takes the opportunity to reveal that he knows that Frank set him up with the IRS so that he would have to go to Mr. Melzer for help. Angry at himself for not confronting Frank with his affair with Susan, John heads to the bar where he runs into Jenny Alvarez, a news reporter. Alvarez tries to convince John to do an interview with her but he declines. She follows him to the lobby, and Lenny and Vinnie spot them.
