Summary
Part 1, Glory Days: Chapters 1-5
Chapter 1
Mickey causes a mistrial in a case of criminal carjacking by having his client hit him in a rage after the victim testified. This will lead to a plea deal, exactly what Mickey wants.
Chapter 2
Mickey goes to visit his mentor, David ‘Legal’ Siegel. Legal was Mickey’s father partner and the man who has provided Mickey with answers to the many questions he has had about his father as well as legal matters. Legal congratulates Mickey, but Legal also warns him that he is allowing his personal life, including the fact that his daughter is no longer speaking to him, to interfere with his concentration.
