Michael Corleone
A complex, brooding mastermind, Michael Corleone is the son of legendary capo di tutti capi, Vito Corleone. Michael is a worthy heir to Vito, the only one of his sons Vito believed could succeed him as Don. Initially neither Michael nor Vito wanted Michael to join the family business. Both men pretend to share the same dream that the Corleone name should not be associated with crime, but should instead be a name one might see in the halls of Justice, or in the White House. Michael carries on with his father's dream to create a legitimate family dynasty through the temporary means of organized crime.
