Point of View
The third person omniscient perspective of the novel lends itself well not only to the story, but also to its themes. Considering this is a dual protagonist book, this perspective is one of the only ways for the story to be told. It allows the reader to zoom in specifically on certain characters to see significant moments for them, which helps flesh out the cast and allows the reader to learn more about the intimacy of their personal lives so that the larger moments that happen with the entire cast are more easily understood and realized.
