Summary

Chapter 11

Still in the bathroom at McDonald's, Katie closes the door quietly, and immediately starts to try and figure out how she can escape. She realizes the bathroom has no windows, and that if she stands on a seat and locks the door, the men won’t be fooled. She holds the gun, ready to shoot, just as the door opens. She debates whether she should shoot the man coming in or not, and is about to until she realizes it is Ty. He immediately jumps against the door and puts his hands up.

Through the door, she sees that the hall is empty. Ty says the guy asked for her, and he told them she was never there. He says they’re closed and that he'd decided to bring in cleaning supplies into the bathroom so his presence in there won't look...
