Summary

In Chapter 30, Blomkvist wakes up and realizes that his abductors took him to an industrial building. He is on a stretcher and there is a furnace at his feet. Then Ivan comes in. He apologizes for the fact that he is now involved in a family matter and talks about the language of pain.

Kayla is outside with her chief hacker who shows her images of Michael being tortured. She tells them to send them. Even though he thinks that things have gone too far and she should leave, she refuses to do so until her sister is dead.
