Summary

Chapter 12

This chapter focuses on Casales. Though she seldom works night shift, the death of the professor has her on call. She goes to the station and another officer, Bublanski, who works in the cybercrime division wastes no time finding her. He had come in on his day off because of the new developments regarding the unknown hacker.

The team has discovered that the unknown hacker has lead them to other, possibly more concerning, discoveries. They have uncovered a connection between the NSA, Solifon, and the hacking group that Casales has nicknamed the Spiders. Casales wonders aloud if this is why the NSA has not been making more of an effort to investigate the Spiders.
