Summary
The final guidepost is about the importance of embracing laughter, song, and dance and letting go of being “cool” and in control. Laughter, music, and dance and integral parts of human culture that help us engage in “collective ecstasy” (117). They “create emotional and spiritual connection [and] remind us of the one thing that truly matters when we are searing for comfort, celebration, inspiration, or healing: We are not alone” (118).
