Summary

Greg was startled to see a lizard walking poolside. Greg alerted a lifeguard. The lifeguard told him that it was an iguana and that sometimes they even go into the water for a swim. Greg was not very happy about this and decided he did not want to be in the pool anymore. He asked his mom if they could get some lunch.

The Heffleys went to get lunch somewhere with an outdoor patio. Greg’s mom warned them not to drink the water but his dad boasted that, because he travels so much for work, drinking the water would not be a problem for him. When their food arrived, they were circled by a flock of birds that started stealing food from their plates and Greg noticed that slugs had crawled onto his glass of soda.
