Summary

The three travel to Marseilles. But his father’s bank is already closed, so they are unable to send or receive messages. Felicity steals food after they reach a fair along the pier. Monty asks Percy if he is sick, but Felicity returns before Percy gives him a straight answer. Felicity asks why Monty stole from the ambassador, and Monty says her love of rules will help her at finishing school. She says she wants to go to a real school, not an etiquette school. Monty understands, as he hates the idea of Felicity losing her personality. However, he gets upset when she says he got kicked out of school and got to go on a trip that she is unable to enjoy because she is a woman.
