Summary
In the section “Spider in the Cup,” Leo and his son Milo were watching planes take off from Leo’s London office. Leo had gone through a rough patch when he had been arrested for common assault and then had become an alcoholic after he was fired from his job. In a session with a counselor, he had asked if one human being could ever really know another one. Leo thought he could know another human by installing a surveillance system.
Leo asked Cameron, who was in charge of security and transport at Leo’s company Sicilia, to install a surveillance system in his wife’s bedroom. When Cameron questioned Leo’s motives, Leo told him that he wanted a divorce. He believed his wife was pregnant with Xeno’s baby even though Xeno was Leo’s best friend.
