Chapter 6 Summary
TThe following day, Hayley is given some clothes that are similar to what the other children are wearing, clothes her grandmother would not have approved of. She simply brushes her hair instead of spending time being it just perfect as her grandmother would have done. At breakfast, she chooses a chocolate flavored cereal and several fried items over the porridge she was accustomed to eating every morning.
As cousin Mercer attends to the wet carpets and the water-stained ceilings, the children decide to play the game. Harmony is in charge of the game and sets up a different tag where each child will start and passes out cards that tell the children what they are to do.
