Summary
In Chapter 140, Ana reminds Daniel of Fuga's belief that the government was taking babies from some families to ensure they were raised by those who supported Franco's government. She then reveals that Julia gave birth to twins. She was told one girl died but was never convinced that was true. She begins to cry, saying she fears what she is about to say will ruin her relationship with Daniel. He assures her it will not. She hands him a photo of Lali, and Daniel is certain he is looking at a photo of Christina.
In Chapter 141, Ana explains that this is a photo of Lali and that Christina is Julia's daughter. Daniel says he expected Christina to one day be curious about her birth parents. Ana says the situation is complicated with possible repercussions, and that he cannot tell Christina yet...
