Louise Rick
Louise Rick is a middle-aged, veteran detective who has been tasked at heading a new department, whose focus is finding missing persons. One of her first cases in the department is to identify the dead body found near Anvsø Lake, which turns out to be Lise Andersen. Louise is not supported by her superiors as she carries out her work, and must fight uphill in office politics to see her case through. With the help of her new partner, Eik Nordstrøm, and in collaboration with other police members like Mik Rasmussen, Louise is able to successfully tie her missing persons case back into the series of crimes taking place around Avnsø Lake, eventually discovering that Jørgen Parkov, in concert with his sister Bodil Parkov, is the perpetrator.
Louise has a cold and distant personality, and must also deal with a number of emotional personal issues...
