Summary
Chapter 13 opens with the case study of Shanti Devi, a young Indian girl who was born with memories of being a woman named Lugdi from Mathura. Shanti Devi immediately recognized the town when her family brought her to visit. Villagers and family members tested her by asking the young girl to find locations, and she proved herself by finding the lavatory and her old bedroom. She even showed off the location of a hidden well in the village. Unlike the case studies that came before it, Shanti Devi’s is taken from Dr. K.S. Rawat’s book, The Case of Shanti Devi.
