Major Mandella, 2458-3142 A.D., Chapter 6 Summary

Just over a year after their arrival at Sade-138, the Taurans finally appear. Charlie and Mandella are sitting in Mandella's office when the commodore contacts them from the orbiting Masaryk II with the information that the first Tauran ships have been spotted. The computer estimates that it will be just under a month before they are actually in attack range. The company is quite disturbed by this information. They had expected the Taurans to attack early while they were building the base and since it had been over a year, there had been an unspoken hope that maybe they were not coming at all.
