Private Mandella, Chapters 10-11 Summary

Upon completion of the training activities on Charon, the company takes a six month journey to Stargate, the last stop before going into battle on a planet near the first collapsar ever detected. During their one-week stay they assist in building a new wing, which doubles the size of the base. It is planned that Stargate will be the command center for the entire war. When they leave Stargate on the ship Earth's Hope, many are anxious about heading into the collapsar, not to mention apprehensive about the first ever planned attack on the enemy. The journey, however, is simple and painless. Now that they have arrived in Tauran territory, most trepidation surrounds the idea of finally facing the enemy.
