Alex was staying in Room 511 of the Royal Phoenician when he was killed by Elena. The night before, Alex had given Cassie the key to his room and asked her to wait for him there. The two had sex multiple times in the room before Cassie woke up to discover that Alex was dead. She tried to clear the hotel of any evidence she had been there before she left without telling anyone that Alex was dead.
