Summary

In class the next day, Brianna is terrified. She feels this job is the one positive in her life and that she is good at it. She has jeopardized it by sleeping with Amadeo. She has also experienced pain and wonders if it is heartache, a sign she was in love with Amadeo. Brianna feels bad for Angel, then becomes angry because Angel blames Brianna for Lizette leaving the program. Brianna realizes Angel is chewing gum and orders her to spit it out.
