Summary

Angel is amazed with the baby. She names him Connor Justin Padilla. A nurse arrives and takes a drop of blood from the baby. Angel flinches; Connor cries, and Amadeo jumps to his feet, demanding to know what the nurse is doing. The baby settles quickly, and Angel and Amadeo settle back down. Angel is surprised that Amadeo is so interested in the baby and that Marissa stayed outside during the delivery and left soon after. Amadeo asks Angel if she would like to be the driver for his windshield business, which he has named Creative Windshield Solutions. She agrees. Later, she imagines how her body has been stretched and wonders if the heart can also stretch to “fit them all.”
