Summary

In Chapter 11, Nantucket locals and Hungry with Hollis fans wonder how her weekend will go. Hollis visits a few shops around town for supplies. She chats with the liquor store owner, Ethan, who gives her his condolences. He says his wife always called Matthew “Mr. Wonderful” (94). The nickname makes Hollis recall a time Matthew called her beautiful and told her he was proud of her.

Hollis cooks and double-checks the house to make sure everything is perfect. She feels awful when she realizes she missed Caroline’s arrival. She prepares Caroline’s favorite lunch. Caroline refuses to eat it and instead heads to her room right away. A few hours later, Hollis checks in on her. Caroline accuses Hollis of caring more about her website than her family. As Dru-Ann arrives in her car, Caroline shows Hollis the viral video.
