Summary
Chapter 25
It is Christmas Morning in Coldwater. Sully watches his son open up his gifts, then smiles at Liz who has come over to watch the festivities at Sully's parents' house. Sully excuses himself and goes into his childhood bedroom. Once there he shuts the door and pulls out an envelope from Horace, which Jack handed to him the night before. He had told Sully when he gave it to him that after he read it to please give him a call.
Horace writes in the letter that his son, Eliot Gray Jr. was the man in the Tower that fateful night. He says that he destroyed the flight recordings that would have vindicated Sully in order to save his son's job. He had been estranged with his son and wanted to make things right between them.
